singing the hell out of my soul

Aug. 4, 2005, Thursday. I was walking again in a usual corridor at the 7th floor of Beato Angelico Building. Nothing special… I saw a familiar figure going inside one of the classrooms. The person I saw was very cute…and large. Yep, I think you know whom I am talking about. I shouted in the corridor (not minding my etiquette. Hek hek!) “BORJA!” Then as expected, he looked at me. I quickly asked, “sasama ka!?” His face stayed still; he kept his everyday phlegmatic facial expression and showed me his enormous bag. “YAAAAY!” I screamed in the corridor and quickly ran over to him and hugged him with glee.

The next thing I knew, I was in our classroom (room 701) and happen to receive my plate on that very hour… Can you guess what my grade was? Hek, 2! Yehe! I was contented because last time, I got 3.75! HAHAHA. Anyways, there I go, making my big escape out of Manago’s 4 chinky eyes. Well, like the great Tammi does, I just brought my bag with me and went straight for the door. HAHAHAHA. Easy does it… HEK! I went to the 3rd floor for my locker is there and I had to put my plate there.

While sitting on the floor in front of my locker, I texted “somebody.” I said, “Andito ako sa harap ng room niyo, hehehe…” I sorta waited a little for a sign of him… But…feeling stupid enough, I closed my locker with a sigh thinking that “he” won’t be showing up. I took a few steps towards the elevator… Then… I heard a familiar male voice. I looked to the left and there “he” was…walking towards my direction. I felt cheery inside but I kept my cool. When he passed by, he tapped me and went to his classroom. Geez. >_<

Then after feeling a bit upset, I just looked again at the elevator, slightly urging to leave the disappointing scene while also waiting for a glimpse of a miracle.
Well, I must’ve been a good girl today, considering I cut my class again, because God was nice enough to make me wait long enough in front of the elevator… ^_^ “He” approached me and said, “Sorry a, di ako makakasama kasi dami ko pang gagawin e. La pa nga akong tulog e.” I was like ‘Awww.. Wawa ka naman..’ inside. Then I replied, “hehe.. ayus lang yan.” Then I sorta played a little with his eyeglasses. Cute ng eyes niya. ^o^ Then a quick sound was heard ‘ting!’ …Awww… so soon? I was wishing that the elevators would get broken so that I have to stay even for just a bit longer. But, it’s the way things are. I had to go and we waved bye bye to each other. Bye Diestro. ^_^

Pretty soon, we were at McDonalds in Intramuros, we had to meet our Mapuan pals. Sister Oka was already there and we were talking Bisaya. It’s fun. Try it. ^_^ Sister Oka and I even went to 7 Eleven and had my self look like a fool cuz I was doing a pretty bad job with my hotdogs. “Naku dung! Yung hat dug!”

Before I knew it, we were already in the van and I was sitting next to Sister Oka. We were on the road to Valenzuela. I was with Ate Bat Bat, L.J (Ate Bat’s bf ^o^), Ate Ciel (Ate Bat’s friend), Jason, Borja (aka Monty), Roc, Sister Oka and Rinna. Too bad Jem wasn’t there. While in the van, I was having a great time singing (or… growling ^_^). I was illumining to be like Kathy Tailor. Hek! I reckon I was doing a pretty good job making my audience cover their ears. HEK! THEY DON’T KNOW THE TRUE ART OF SINGING!

After an estimated 2 hour ride, we finally arrived at Carinos Resort in Valenzuela. Immediately, nahain agad ang handaan ni Ate Bat Bat- ang Redhorse. ^o^ Naku dung, ber bily nanaman eto! I was happy enough when I finished my first bottle. Oh yeah, Ate Mae and Rap Rap were there narin.

The four guys, Jason, Roc, Borja and Borja, went for swimming. Di naman sila maxado excited nu? And so and so and so… There were peeps that are swimming, there were some that are drinking and singing. Everyone (I think) was having a swell time.

I didn’t really plan to go swimming, but I just found my self in Kuya Rap Rap’s car because Ate Ciel was going to lend me her clothes (…so I can swim.) While in the car, I heard Ate Mae say, “O Ciel, ok ka pa ba?” I can’t recall her answer but I heard Kuya Rap say “Si Tammi, ok na ok pa!” which made me wake up. Man, I was slightly snoozing in his car. Taena kasi, tumira nanaman ng Redhorse. Arg.
